Isle of Skye residential
Sat 6th Oct to Thurs 11th October 2018
Workshop Description
The majestic and mysterious Isle of Skye is one of the worlds dream locations for any landscape photographer. With its ever changing landscape including mountains, rivers, and coastal scenery, there is plenty of opportunity to capture some of the best landscapes you could imagine. Covering all the major locations including the Fairy pools, Talisker bay, Sligachan bridge, Trotternish, Elgol, Neist Point, and The Old man of Storr, we will also have time to visit some more unusual locations. Your guide to the Island is Professional photographer Colin Jarvis. He has an intimate knowledge of the various locations. As well as being guided, with a fantastic ratio of only 4 clients to one workshop leader, you can also rest assured that you will be able to spend lots of time working on a one to one basis to not only capture some fantastic images, but more importantly to further your skills. We will make the most of the best light by making sure we are at some of the best locations for sunrises and sunsets, it can be tiring but immensley rewarding. Whether you are a beginner who needs to learn some of the more technical aspects of exposure, depth of field and filters, or a more advanced photographer who wants to really hone their compositional skills, your needs will be catered for. Places are limited to four clients to ensure plenty of tuition during your visit. There is the possibility of return transport from Preston, Lancashire (limited to three clients).
